Croatia. Beautiful countryside, the sea, inlets,
and (pebble) beaches, enchanting old cities and a wonderful Mediterranean
atmosphere. The ingredients for a perfect holiday destination
Croatia not only has the sea and the sand: there is plenty to do and see.
Many historic cities here are well worth a visit. Cities such as Zadar,
Split and Dubrovnik and its city centre that is listed as a UNESCO World
Heritage Site.
Croatia also has eight National Parks and various nature reserves, such
as the beautiful Plitvice Lakes National Park, which has also been rewarded
the UNESCO World Heritage status. The island groups of Brijuni and Kornati
are also national parks. The island group of Kornati consists of no fewer
than 140 uninhabited islands and rocks.
Those national parks are also very suitable for sports activities, such
as rafting, mountain climbing and walking. It also possible to go diving
off the coast or to enjoy a host of other water sports.
Over a thousand islands can be found off the 600 km long coast, most of
which are uninhabited. What’s special is that with Euro Relais you can book
former fishermen’s cottages on the islands off the Dalmatian coast.
In short, pure enjoyment for lovers of sun, sea and culture! |
